Screen printing

So I have been doing silk screening over the past month, my focus in this featured screen, has been to transfer one of my ink paintings to print, this work is a focus on waving crossing lines, I have done many studies of nature and in many of my works I draw on these learnings, this image is already monotone and simple.

Original work, ink painting on rice paper

Silk screen

This is one of my favourite prints so far, I have a lot of mono art work, that I think will look great screen printed and I am really interested in how they will enlarge and look printed onto different paper and fabrics, more coming soon.

Thanks for looking

    1. Yeah it is interesting, thanks for your comment Dave, also doing wood cut, a lot slower process but I really like the texture that comes through when printing and the aesthetic of the cut wood block, as a thing in itself.
